Cable manufacturer Tratos Cavi Spa has expanded
its manufacturing, research and office premises
in Tuscany, Italy, with a 6 million Euro investment
in buildings and machinery. The decision to expand
is due to the increased demand for their products
and their desire to work with clients and in markets
to develop new products and services.
The expansion, to be completed by the March 2007,
is part of Tratos Cavi’s profitable growth
strategy. The aim is to respond to the evolving
market situation, where a constantly growing customer
base is looking for larger cable quantities manufactured
and delivered within strict schedules. The production
volumes of the cables manufactured in Tuscany have
almost doubled within the last five years, and the
growth is expected to continue.
Tratos Cavi Spa is a global cable manufacturing
and research corporation with 2006 net sales of
approximately EUR 100 million. It has 300 employees
and provides cables for use in the Utility, Rail
and Communications industry. |
