By achieving and maintaining a leading position in the cable industry, in terms of return to its investors, continual improvement of its products, availability, reliability and technical stability and by adhering to all mandatory and statutory legislation applicable to health, safety and environmental issues, thus enabling Tratos Ltd to provide the correct product, right first time and at a competitive price.
To achieve our objectives, we believe a policy of total commitment to quality is essential, and that this commitment can only be effective, if our policy is applied both within the company and to supplier and subcontractor.
We insist on suppliers and subcontractors of crucial materials having quality policies and systems equal to our own, while suppliers of less critical products are accepted only after thorough evaluation of their products and systems.
To enhance the awareness of total quality management as a vehicle to both achieving and maintaining our overall goals.
We are fully committed to, and involved in this policy, and personnel at all levels are kept conversant with company objectives with the aim of achieving a total quality management system.
Hazardous substances, REACH and other Chemical Legislation
REACH
The REACH regulation came into effect on the 1st of June 2007. This regulation affects the import, export and manufacture of chemical substances, preparations and monomers.

- Octabrom-Diphenylether (C12H2Br8O)
- Decabrominated Diphenylether (DecaBDE)
